Resourcing Coordinator:
Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for a coordinator to join one of its teams on-site at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.
Salary: 140 per day
Shifts: 37-40 hours per week
Job Purpose / Overview
The Resourcing Coordinator (RC) will report directly into the CP Capability Lead (CL) and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of approx. 650 resources into the Commissioning Programme (CP).
They will be responsible for providing effective and efficient support to the Capability team, coordinating the resourcing element of the Capability Strategy to help ensure all resources are in place and fully trained at the appropriate time.
All work scope undertaken by the RC is to be completed in compliance with NNB process and procedures and therefore it will be the responsibility of the RC to ensure compliance and where applicable, implementation of improvement within their span of control.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordination of resourcing activities in line with the Resourcing Plan, with particular focus on the recruitment and onboarding of resources into the Commissioning Programme.
- Support stakeholders in navigating through the recruitment and onboarding processes, to ensure best practice, compliance, and timely mobilisation of resource.
- Providing guidance on best-practice relating to bulk/high volume recruitment. Identification of strategy, timelines, interfaces and ensuring timely execution in line with project needs.
- Maintain accurate records relating to resource plan, including documenting, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders (CL, HR, Org Change, Hiring Manager).
- Development of accurate status reports (PowerBI) specific to the recruitment and onboarding of personnel ensuring Management are provided with good understanding of progress, issues, and areas for escalation.
- Using experience and knowledge contribute to overall improve the NNB recruitment and onboarding process ensuring maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supporting with additional Capability activities, such as security vetting, diversity and inclusion initiatives, outreach programmes, outage management, mobilisation to site.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Minimum level 3 qualification or equivalent in HR or related subject.
- Good organisational skills (flexible/organised/proactive)
- Experience with development of strategy, process and procedure relating to the recruitment and onboarding.
- Experience with managing and executing high volume recruitment and onboarding campaigns, particularly related to skilled worker/Technician resource.
- Experienced in driving process, demonstrating best practice, and supporting others through the process.
- Ability to work independently and be proactive
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills notably with various levels of the organisation and externally
- Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
- Attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage tasks through to completion
