  • Our client, a Chartered Accountants firm based in Sidcup, Kent, is seeking a fully ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Manager with approximately 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong practice Audit background in Professional Services, preferably from a small to mid-sized practice rather than Big 4.
  • In this role, the Audit Manager will manage their own client audit portfolio while also contributing to the training of graduates and team leaders.
  • Key responsibilities include planning and reviewing accounts and audit, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • The position offers a salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 and includes a hybrid working environment with 2 days at home and 3 days in the office.


Our client is a Chartered Accountants based in Sidcup in Kent and they are currently recruiting for a fully ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Manager (@5 years post-qualified) to join their team as an Audit and Assurance Manager.

This role will suit someone with a strong practice Audit background in Professional Services who is looking for a role where they can manage their own client audit portfolio but also help with the training of their graduates and teams leaders.

Their preference is for experience in a small to mid-sized practice rather than Big 4

You will be managing a portfolio of audit clients across varied sectors. This will include developing the client relationships and ensuring that expectations are managed accordingly.


They have a strong graduate programme but need your experience and knowledge to assist with their training and growth.


The main duties of this role include:

  • Planning, supervising and reviewing accounts, audit and corporation tax for your client portfolio.
  • Coordinating ad-hoc advisory work and liaising with other departments as required.
  • Supervising staff and providing assistance regarding technical queries and professional development.
  • Effective portfolio management, agreeing budgets with clients and billing on agreed terms.
  • Looking for new business opportunities
  • Working with Partners and Directors to plan and develop our audit and assurance offering, planning for technical changes in the sector and looking for new opportunities.

They offer a hybrid working environment (2 days at home and 3 in the office), therefore you must be able to easily commute their Sidcup offices.


They are offering a salary @£60-65000
