As Interim Financial Controller you will be responsible for looking after all of the financial operations for the US entity. Working closely with the sales, project and operations teams, you will be tasked with assessing current processes and suggesting ways to improve them, and implementing those improvements.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Month-end close for the US entity
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Preparation of rolling cash flow forecasts, providing insights to working capital management
- Negotiate payment schedules in line with commercial terms
- Oversee AP processing
- Get involved with the ERP implementation from July
Travel to the US for between 1 and 3 weeks will be required within the first couple of months of the role.
Profile
My client is looking for someone with the following experience:
- Qualified / Qualified by Experience
- Exposure to US Accounting
- Process improvement work
- The ability to work on your own initiative
This role is due to start on Monday 14th April, so availability is key! You will also be required to travel to the US for between 1 and 3 weeks within the first couple of months of the role.
