Job Advert: Temporary Careers Advisor

We are currently seeking a temporary Careers Advisor to join our team in Sidcup,starting from 7th November. This role is temporary until the permanent position is successfully filled. You can also apply for the perm role. Temp role roughly for a couple of months.

Position Details:
  • Location: Sidcup
  • Duration: Temporary until the permanent role is filled
  • Hours: 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday)

Requirements for the Temporary Careers Advisor Role:
  1. Qualifications:
    • A relevant qualification in Careers Guidance, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
    • Professional registration or certification (e.g., QCF Level 6 in Careers Guidance or equivalent) is desirable.
  2. Experience:
    • Previous experience working as a Careers Advisor, preferably within an educational setting.
    • Experience supporting students with career planning, UCAS applications, CV writing, and employability skills.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, staff, and external organizations.
    • Ability to provide one-on-one guidance and run group workshops on career and employability topics.
    • Proficiency in using career resources and tools, including online platforms and databases.
