Quantity Surveyor required to work with medium sized property services contractor delivering planned maintenance social housing projects in Islington.Â

Key Responsibilities:- Price tender enquiries by visiting sites, taking condition survey photographs, and carrying out measurements as needed.
- Prepare and submit monthly valuations and accounts, ensuring all documentation for variations is received promptly.
- Ensure that the rates agreed for sub-contracted work cover all necessary safety requirements.
- Provide clients with cost estimates for any additional work.
- Upon completion of projects, assist in completing contract performance assessment forms.
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Full driving licence.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fully proficient in computer use, with experience in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Capable of establishing strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Salary: £50,000 + vehicle allowance.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1-hour lunch break).
- Holiday entitlement: 21 days per year, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure.
- Birthday day off.
- Company-provided phone for business purposes.
- A DBS check will be conducted at the company's expense.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Six-month probationary period applies.
- An aptitude test will be required during the interview stage.
