We are currently working with a welcoming SEND school in Sidcup, Bexley who are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant.

The Role 

The school are seeking to appoint a motivated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant. Experience of working with children and young people with ASD, SLD and/or PMLD is desirable but they also welcome applicants who are willing to develop their skills. The position is suitable for individuals who are motivated, patient and passionate about students’ learning and wellbeing.

The School 

A successful community special school for students aged 11 - 16 with complex learning needs including ASD, PD's and students with MLD. They are committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all their learners and they achieve this through creative curriculum and personalized intervention strategies to ensure each individual students’ needs, interests and abilities are fully met. They focus on the development of communication and independence skills whilst ensuring that the students are empowered and enjoy positive wellbeing.
