Are you an experienced payroll professional with a strong ability to lead teams and optimize processes? JGA is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join our team and take the lead in providing exceptional payroll services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee a small team of Payroll Administrators while working in close partnership with our outsourced payroll provider, Dayforce.
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Provide mentorship and support to Payroll Administrators, promoting high performance and career development.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll data and timely submissions, performing pre-audits and checks before processing.
- Manage the relationship with our payroll provider, holding them accountable for quality and service delivery.
- Enhance efficiency by refining pre-audit processes, staying informed on legislative changes, and conducting regular policy audits.
- Maintain data integrity within Dayforce, approve configuration updates, and test system enhancements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years’ payroll experience, ideally with Dayforce or similar bureau systems.
- Excel expertise and strong technical skills.
- Deep understanding of pension and auto-enrolment processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
