Interaction is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts and Admin Assistant to support with our clients’ financial and administrative operations.
The Accounts and Admin Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative functions within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Handle general administrative duties, including managing office supplies, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of office systems and procedures.
To be considered:
- Proven experience in an accounts or administrative role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
