Description
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Work closely with team members to drive financial understanding and performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Prepare and analyse the monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports.
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.
- Collaborate with department leaders to improve financial procedures.
Profile
A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:
- Proficient in financial software systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
