Are you a qualified Audit Senior looking for a fresh challenge in a firm that values career development and work-life balance? Our client, a highly regarded accountancy practice in Sittingbourne, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their dynamic and growing team.

The Role:

As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs to larger corporate groups. You’ll be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Reviewing audit work and ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and UK GAAP
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
  • Supervising and mentoring junior auditors, providing training and guidance
  • Identifying risks and making recommendations for process improvements

About You:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Strong audit experience within an accountancy practice
  • Solid knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
