About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Team Lead to oversee a team of industrial cleaners and labourers for our client, a leading waste management company based in Sittingbourne. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to lead a team and ensure the smooth running of industrial cleaning operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of industrial cleaners and labourers, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily tasks and ensure all cleaning and waste management activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, promoting a safe working environment for the team.
- Training & Development: Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to help develop their skills and improve performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess team performance, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues.
- Scheduling & Reporting: Organize and schedule work shifts and report to management on team activities, performance, and any issues that arise.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards and quality expectations.
- Essential:
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in an industrial or waste management environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in an industrial or waste management environment.
- Desirable:
- Experience within the Waste Management or Industrial Cleaning industry.
- Forklift or other relevant industrial certifications.
- Experience within the Waste Management or Industrial Cleaning industry.
