The Job! As a Customer Account Manager, you will be joining an innovative industry leader who has a modern and dynamic approach, offering exciting opportunities for future progression. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, being actively involved in all aspects of the business, having a real impact on the efficiency and profitability of the operation, while maintaining customer and internal relations. The expectation is to provide first-class customer service to the valued clients and support to the sales team, all within a fast-moving B2B environment.

Knowledge & Experience required:

You will be required to demonstrate exceptional organisational skill paired with highly efficient and accurate administrative ability.

As well as assisting with the day to day running of the business, the role will also include:

  • Creating and implementing new processes
  • Creating and maintaining sales, stock and customer reports
  • Preparing and managing large customer tenders
  • Previous experience in a B2B Customer Service role
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to self-manage and plan effectively
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office functions, especially Excel
  • Be outgoing, positive and have excellent communication skills, particularly on the telephone
  • Be a strong and accurate administrator
  • Have a track record of customer service success and a desire to improve the customer experience
  • Be commercially minded
  • Manage a healthy workload and maintain focus and organisation
  • Be able to understand and effectively follow company process and procedure
