Are you an experienced CNC Operator Setter with Programming knowledge?

Do you have a solid background working with FANUC controls?

Do you have a passion for engineering and hands on manufacturing?

Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Kent are looking for a skilled, diligent, and agile CNC operator setter that works well as part of a workshop team and is target driven.

Main duties include:

  • Manufacturing precision machined components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Setting and operating several multi-axis CNC machines with a range of controllers.
  • Carrying out initial quality checks on machined parts.
  • Maintaining program, tooling and inspection records for all components produced.

You will have at least 3-years’ experience in manufacturing, and an in-depth knowledge of CNC Milling/Turning. You will also possess:

  • Experience with multi axis milling machines
  • A basic level of programming
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • The ability to work to strict tolerances.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A flexible nature and good communication skills
  • A good understanding of health and safety in an engineering environment
