Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and providing expert advice on complex financial matters.
  • Ensure all audit and assurance work is conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional standards.
  • Identify and address potential risks, offering strategic solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless service offering.
Key Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in external audit and assurance, ideally auditing charities and academies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and audit procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • A proactive approach with a strong focus on delivering results.
