This position requires a proficient Finance Manager to join a Transport & Distribution company on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial health and offering financial advice and insights to aid business growth.

Description

  • Oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure timely and accurate financial reports and practices.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and produce Monthly Management Accounts and liaise with external Chartered Accountants
  • Lead budget forecasting initiatives and manage financial planning.
  • Coordinate tax and year end audit processes. Quarterly VAT Returns
  • There will be a need to conduct some Payroll and HR related duties in addition to your core Finance role.
  • Drive the company's financial strategic planning.
  • Monitor risks and manage the company's Financial position.
  • Offer financial insights and guidance to the company's leadership team.
  • Ensure compliance with company's policies.
  • Supervise 2 Staff

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / QBE
  • Excellent organisational, leadership and decision-making skills.
  • MS office - Excel - Intermediate to advanced
