This position requires a proficient Finance Manager to join a Transport & Distribution company on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial health and offering financial advice and insights to aid business growth.

Description
- Oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure timely and accurate financial reports and practices.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare and produce Monthly Management Accounts and liaise with external Chartered Accountants
- Lead budget forecasting initiatives and manage financial planning.
- Coordinate tax and year end audit processes. Quarterly VAT Returns
- There will be a need to conduct some Payroll and HR related duties in addition to your core Finance role.
- Drive the company's financial strategic planning.
- Monitor risks and manage the company's Financial position.
- Offer financial insights and guidance to the company's leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with company's policies.
- Supervise 2 Staff
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / QBE
- Excellent organisational, leadership and decision-making skills.
- MS office - Excel - Intermediate to advanced
