The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to take ownership of financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the production of accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, capacity modelling, and commercial financial planning. This role requires a strong leader with a strategic mindset and a keen eye for financial detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term business planning
- Manage annual audits and year-end processes
- Compile and maintain commercial financial rate cards
- Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive continuous process improvements and automation
- Act as the Finance "Super User" for financial systems
- Monitor and reconcile monthly payroll and salaries
- Prepare and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead and develop the Finance team
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA, ACMA, or ACCA Qualified Accountant
- Strong experience in financial accounting, ideally within Fresh Produce, Food Production or Food Manufacturing
- Proven expertise in P&L, cashflow management, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Advanced data analysis and financial reporting skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work
