About the Role:
We are looking for a experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join our 24x7 service desk team. You will play a critical role in providing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for server and network faults, working with a diverse range of technologies including Microsoft Server, Active Directory, firewalls, and virtualisation solutions such as VMware and Hyper-V.

This role involves 12-hour shifts with a 4-day workweek, including some night shifts. They offer a competitive salary to compensate for the unsociable hours. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical environment and is eager to develop their expertise further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3rd Line Troubleshooting: Resolve complex server and network faults, including configuration issues, system failures, and connectivity problems.
  • Advanced Server/Network Management: Support Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform in-depth fault investigations, ensuring timely resolutions for clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers across platform, infrastructure, and network teams to deliver solutions.
