Project and Production Coordinator

Mid Kent

Mon – Friday – 37.5hrs

Hybrid working following probationary period

Pearson Whiffin are delighted to be representing an exciting, industry leading business with an impressive b2b client base with many household name brands in their search for a meticulous customer facing administrator with a background in inventory management globally.

This varied and fast paced role will include:

  • Collaboratively working as part of a small team servicing b2b clients across the Retail sector
  • Managing accurate production in line with customer requirements, pulling together all elements of the project to ensure timely and on budget delivery
  • Collating documentation including invoices to send as a batch proposal
  • ERP management, ensuring orders are created accurately with assembly schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Extensive proactive communications
  • Preparing product launch documentation
  • Extensive inventory management including creation of a Bill of Materials
  • Supporting estimating and pricing through preparing production quotations and liaising effectively with suppliers
  • Extensive reporting of stock levels
  • Daily use of Excel including creation and manipulation of formulas and use of V-LookUp functions
  • Dealing with global inventory management including shipments internationally and customs documentation, working with international warehouses

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have worked in a role involving inventory management or production planning
  • Previously have worked with international exports, and have some idea of regulations and customs documentation
  • Ideally have worked with large b2b accounts – extra bonus points for having managed Retail accounts!
  • Be able to use Excel to at least an intermediate level (creating formulas, using V-Look Up functions, creating tables and graphs)
  • Have an excellent grasp of the English language both written and verbal
  • Be confident working with numbers, able to perform calculations and spot errors
  • Enjoy working to deadlines, thriving under pressure and being able to juggle multiple priorities without getting stressed!
  • Be a calm, confident ‘people’ person, but with the ability to get your head down when needed, working independently to shared goals
  • Be flexible in terms of travelling – you might be required to take trips nationally and internationally (you would be given notice of this)
