Position Overview:

This position as Head of Continuous Improvement is a brilliant opportunity to join an established, and growing manufacturing business which operates globally. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Continuous Improvement or Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team and establish different procedures and practices to drive efficiency across multiple sites.

Position Duties:

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence and lean thinking throughout the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on process standardisation, efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to analyse processes and implement improvements.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development to staff on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Foster an environment that encourages innovation and proactive problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Communicate continuous improvement goals and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

  • International travel to sites on occasion.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role focused on continuous improvement, process optimisation, or operational excellence.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
