Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Position Overview:
This position as Head of Continuous Improvement is a brilliant opportunity to join an established, and growing manufacturing business which operates globally. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Continuous Improvement or Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team and establish different procedures and practices to drive efficiency across multiple sites.
Position Duties:
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Champion a culture of operational excellence and lean thinking throughout the organisation.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on process standardisation, efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to analyse processes and implement improvements.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide coaching, training, and development to staff on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Foster an environment that encourages innovation and proactive problem-solving.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Communicate continuous improvement goals and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Position Requirements:
- International travel to sites on occasion.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven experience in a leadership role focused on continuous improvement, process optimisation, or operational excellence.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
