Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Sittingbourne, are looking to recruit Pack and Despatch Operative to work with their Final Inspection team . Specialising in manufacturing precision engineered components they are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring product quality and timely delivery.

Main Duties

  • Perform final stage heat treatment on manufactured products
  • Send products for final x-ray and complete x-ray documentation
  • Properly pack and label finished products for safe transport and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule and coordinate shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good administration and basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.
  • You must be physically fit as the role entails a degree of manual handling and long periods of standing.
  • Safety boots will be required.

Shifts Available - 38 Hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4pm
  • Friday 7.30am-1.30pm
