- Act as a deputy for the Technical Manager, stepping in when required.
- Support and enhance food safety and quality management systems.
- Conduct gap analyses against customer standards and internal processes.
- Assist in compliance with BRCGS Food Safety and retailer standards.
- Lead risk assessments and ensure up-to-date documentation.
- Participate in and support third-party audits.
- Conduct internal audits and address non-conformances.
- Lead crisis management in the absence of the Technical Manager.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the business.
- A degree in a food-related subject.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- Experience with BRCGS and multiple retailer standards.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, food defence, and quality assurance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year (dependent on experience).
- Location: Sittingbourne.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM during onboarding).
- Full-time, permanent position.
