This position is both strategic and operational - requiring not only a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, but also a proactive, client-facing approach.In addition, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new compliance consultancy opportunities - contributing to the business development and growth of the company.Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance & Consultancy
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and systems
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues
  • Advise clients on regulatory obligations and best practices
  • Oversee ISO implementation and renewals (9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001)
  • Deliver training sessions and develop supporting documentation for internal staff and clients
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates across the business
  • Draft comprehensive compliance reports for internal and client use
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies as required.
Client Engagement
  • Conduct regular client visits to assess compliance levels and provide tailored consultancy
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, responsiveness, and service excellence
  • Handle client matters with sensitivity, professionalism, and discretion.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the compliance space
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to potential clients
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences to promote services
  • Collaborate with the management team on growth strategy and market positioning.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in compliance management or consultancy
  • Excellent knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks and standards
  • ISO lead auditor qualifications (9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001)
  • Experience with ISO frameworks and quality assurance systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—confident in a client-facing role
  • Commercial acumen and enthusiasm for business development
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
