About the Role:We are looking for a talented and innovative New Product Development Executive to join our dynamic team! In this exciting role, you will design, develop, and improve products that meet our customers' needs while aligning with our company's strategic goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring product specifications are met, all while adhering to quality standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects from concept to launch.
  • Generate new product ideas for both internally and externally manufactured products.
  • Oversee the development process, ensuring compliance with manufacturing procedures, technical constraints, and customer requirements.
  • Develop new products within established HACCP plans, or create new ones where necessary.
  • Conduct product evaluations and presentations for both internal teams and external customers.
  • Plan and coordinate factory production trials with relevant teams.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing team to source new raw materials.
  • Obtain shelf life and challenge test data for new products.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Support promotional activities including product photography, exhibitions, and recipe development.
  • Ensure adherence to BRCGS standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform testing and analysis to ensure the success of new products.

The Successful New Product Development Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in a food-related subject.
  • Experience in a food product development role.
  • A strong understanding of BRCGS and multiple retailer standards.
