Contract length: Temp to perm
Pay: up to £12.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Brook Street are currently looking for an experienced warehouse operative with a bendi forklift licence to join our client based in Sittingbourne.
As a warehouse operative you will be supporting with the logistics managers to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouses day to day running.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) and Bendi trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) and Bendi truck licences.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and safety.
