Job Description: As a Maths GCSE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students, helping them to develop their mathematical skills and achieve their GCSE qualifications. You will work closely with students to support their learning and progress, ensuring they reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths GCSE lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess students’ progress through regular testing and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and update teaching materials and resources to reflect current curriculum standards.
- Support students with additional learning needs and provide one-on-one tutoring where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of mathematics education.
Requirements:
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the GCSE level.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
