Role Overview:As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing supplier invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify, process, and record supplier invoices accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and promptly address discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring all payments align with agreed terms.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with internal departments to manage financial data effectively.
- Utilise accounting software for data entry and reporting.
- Provide general support to the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role is beneficial but not essential
- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to analyse financial information and support key processes.
- Well-organised with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
