Time Recruitment are currently recruitng an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator for our fantastic engineering client based in Skelmersdale. Our client is an industry leader in their field and are looking for a CNC programmer with experience of using fanuc controls. This role will mainly be working on a CNC turner and previous experience on a milling machine would be desirable. Experience with CNC programming (ideally using Fanuc), machine operation, and interpreting engineering drawings is essential. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are key to this role. Duties of this role will include:

  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines
  • Program CNC machines using G-code
  • Interpret engineering drawings and ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machinery as needed
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines

The successful candidate must:

  • Have proven CNC programming experience
  • Have worked on Fanuc 
  • Be able to interpret drawings
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Be hard-working
  • Be willing to learn
