We are seeking to recruit an individual to join an established team within a progressive and friendly company. The job will require you to work on a diverse range of customer accounts and manage them effectively by building and maintaining lasting relationships.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Improving cash flow and limiting the Company's exposure to bad debt.
- Chasing outstanding accounts via telephone and e-mail - logging all calls.
- Issuing reminder letters / emails and final demands - liaising with solicitors as required.
- Resolving queries on customer accounts.
- Allocation and posting of payments to accounts.
- Updating the daily "stop" lists.
- Other general credit control duties.
The successful candidate will have:
- Credit Control experience within a work placement.
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs graded A*-C (9-4) including Mathematics and English.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire to continue a career in Credit Control
- Willingness to learn and take up new challenges.
