We are seeking to recruit an individual to join an established team within a progressive and friendly company. The job will require you to work on a diverse range of customer accounts and manage them effectively by building and maintaining lasting relationships.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Improving cash flow and limiting the Company's exposure to bad debt.
  • Chasing outstanding accounts via telephone and e-mail - logging all calls.
  • Issuing reminder letters / emails and final demands - liaising with solicitors as required.
  • Resolving queries on customer accounts.
  • Allocation and posting of payments to accounts.
  • Updating the daily "stop" lists.
  • Other general credit control duties.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Credit Control experience within a work placement.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs graded A*-C (9-4) including Mathematics and English.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to continue a career in Credit Control
  • Willingness to learn and take up new challenges.
