Collections Advisor

  • Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 basic (Dependant on experience)
  • Performance bonus
  • Skelmersdale
  • Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) - option to work part time
  • Permanent Contract

My client in Skelmersdale are looking for a Collections Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. As a Collections Advisor you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of customers in default. This role can be offered on a full time or part time basis (part time hours to be discussed).

The Collections Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Make and receive calls to customers in default
  • Contact customers by email and letter regarding payment
  • Deal effectively with disputes in accordance with FCA rules
  • Deal with hardship and vulnerable customers in accordance with FCA rules
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements in line with client specific guidelines
  • Ensure calls and emails are recorded accurately
  • Undertake additional regulatory and procedural training as required
  • Help and assist colleagues when required/holiday cover
  • Such other duties as requested in line with experience

Essential Requirements are:

  • Previous experience working within a credit control or collections role
