An Accounts Manager is being recruited to join a reputable business in Skelmersdale to join their existing accountancy function.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your role as Accounts Manager will include:

  • Closing off month end ledgers
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Overseeing the invoicing processes - purchase and sales ledgers, credit control
  • Continuous improvement of controls and processes
  • Leading the the transactional finance team to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Weekly reporting

Profile

The successful applicant to the Accounts Manager role must have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Qualified by experience or possess a recognised finance qualification
  • Strong IT and Excel skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong finance processing background and understanding

Job Offer

You will get a salary paying between £32,000-35,000, 28 days holiday inc bank holiday and pension contribution. The role will be based at the company offices in Skelmersdale five days a week, with the company offering an excellent flexible working policy.
