Production Manager (Nights) - Skelmersdale
Salary: £30,000 - £31,200
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Nights)
We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to lead our night-shift team in Skelmersdale. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Staff: Oversee the production team to ensure high standards of productivity and service.
- Process Adherence: Enforce SOPs to guarantee consistent and quality production.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks, addressing any issues promptly to maintain our standards.
- Resource Management: Efficiently delegate tasks and manage resources to streamline operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Managers and the QA team to uphold product safety and quality.
- Product Storage: Ensure proper storage and monitoring of finished products.
- Waste Management: Implement cost-effective waste processes for efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe production environment, adhering to GMP and Health & Safety Regulations.
- Facility Upkeep: Oversee upkeep of changing facilities and locker room rules adherence.
- Communication & Issue Resolution: Effectively report non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues.
- Training & Development: Train and develop staff within the filling area, ensuring compliance and updated training records.
- Management Reporting: Attend management meetings and relay critical feedback to staff.
- Company Representation: Support audits and present the company professionally to external visitors.
- Health & Safety: Strictly follow all Health & Safety rules, completing all required paperwork and checks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development.
- Understanding of SOPs, quality control, and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
