Position: Sales Development RepresentativeReports to: UK Sales Development ManagerSalary: £24,960 plus commission

Role Overview:

Our client is a rapidly expanding American owned business who are based in Skipton. They are looking for a Sales Development Representative, to join their growing business. This is a crucial role in within the Sales Team by generating leads and building a robust sales pipeline. Your efforts will shape the first impression of our company for new prospects and current clients as they progress through the sales funnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for new prospects and clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify opportunities from leads and schedule appointments.
  • Conduct high volumes of outbound calls and emails to potential clients.
  • Manage sales inquiries and orders, ensuring all correspondence is promptly addressed.
  • Schedule qualified appointments and provide introductory insights.
  • Maintain and update the customer database using Salesforce.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly updates to Sales Managers.
  • Contribute to monthly PowerPoint presentations for team meetings.
  • Ensure top-tier customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
  • Actively contribute to departmental goals.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiar with Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills.
  • Confident and professional in customer interactions.
  • Strong analytical and administrative abilities.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks based on departmental or business needs.
  • Effective time management, ability to work independently, and self-motivation.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional telephone, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Essential Qualifications:

Grade C (or equivalent) or above in Maths and English.

Role will be full time office based until after probation period then hybrid working available.
