Days only with half day Fridays. Possible hybrid working.

Due to huge investment and multiple on-site projects, my client, one of the most successful and well-known brands in the area are seeking a Electrical bias Project Engineer for their state of the art facility in Skipton.

To lead the development and upkeep of lifecycle refurbishment/replacement on manufacturing equipment and buildings, support the site in Project Engineering activities and remedial works. Maintaining, upgrading, and operating company assets to ensure they're functioning at optimum levels.


As a Project Engineer you will be actively involved in the following tasks:
To competently manage/lead factory-based projects, in line with agreed business targets and priorities.
Identify areas of process/control improvement and make recommendations to implement.
Supervise work of contractors.
Lead technical investigations as required for specific projects.
Generate protocols and reports, making recommendations where appropriate.
Provide technical information on appropriate areas to all functions within the business.
Lead project teams to completion of work within agreed budget and time constraints.
Organise and prioritise workload, providing accurate lead times to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
Maintain project documentation and files.
Ensure all assigned activity is carried out in accordance with appropriate internal and external quality systems.
Ensure all documentation is in place to support these activities.







In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills & experience:
You must be a fully qualified engineer with ideally an electrical bias. You will come from within an industrial, manufacturing or process related industry.
Demonstration of management of capital budgets. (CAPEX)
Lean manufacturing.
PLC Interrogation & Automation.
