Live-in Head Housekeeper - Nr Skipton North Yorkshire - Live In 3 bed accommodation - £40,000 to £45,000 GPA
A rural estate in North Yorkshire, consisting of an 11-bedroom private household that includes a pool, gym and tennis courts, is looking for a Housekeeper to run their home. This home is the primary residence to two Principals and their two dogs.
Candidates must have previous experience in a similar Head Housekeeper role - 2/3 years min experience in a similar role
Your main duties will be:
- Managing the household as a whole
- Hands-on housekeeping and laundry duties. Experience with high end fabrics and designer items essential
- Weekly food shopping and liaising with Garden Team re in-house produce
- Stocking of freezer/larder
- Manage and work with other Household staff
- Main point of contact for both Principals for all house related matters
- Running errands
- Basic flower arrangements
- Notifying Maintenance Officer of all repairs
- Assisting with the organising of dinners and events - service experience desirable
- Overseeing security/access of the property
- Out of hours dog care required when Principals not in residence to be split on rota with other members of staff. Occasionally cover dog walking when Dog Walker takes leave
- Very occasional driving duties - airport/train station
Excellent references and Enhanced DBS check required
Live In Full Time Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:30, 42.5 hours
Salary: £40k-£45k DOE
Three-bedroom large semi-detached house with garage and large garden - utility bills to be paid by the employee
