Our client has won multiple awards for their products and services.Established over 40 years ago our client is a global player in the design and manufacturing of lighting products, supplying some of the most recognisable names in the agricultural/off-road/ commercial vehicle industry

About the role:

  • Working closely with the Quality Engineer you will support all functions of design and manufacture, liaising with internal and external sales to assist with new projects.
  • Act as a product specialist, providing technical support to internal and external sales teams.
  • Manage new product development, implementation, and project organisation.
  • Manage the approval process for samples of new products and product revisions.
  • Handle engineering changes and supplier/customer change requests.
  • Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures for production processes.
  • Manage SolidWorks drawings and related documentation.
  • Create part numbers, Bills of Materials, assembly instructions, and visual aids for production teams.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.


The Candidate:

  • Will hold a recognised engineering qualification, ideally HNC
  • Will have proven experience in Project Engineering or Project Management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Solidworks
  • Competent in generating detailed reports and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with compliance standards
