About the role:
- Working closely with the Quality Engineer you will support all functions of design and manufacture, liaising with internal and external sales to assist with new projects.
- Act as a product specialist, providing technical support to internal and external sales teams.
- Manage new product development, implementation, and project organisation.
- Manage the approval process for samples of new products and product revisions.
- Handle engineering changes and supplier/customer change requests.
- Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures for production processes.
- Manage SolidWorks drawings and related documentation.
- Create part numbers, Bills of Materials, assembly instructions, and visual aids for production teams.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
The Candidate:
- Will hold a recognised engineering qualification, ideally HNC
- Will have proven experience in Project Engineering or Project Management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Solidworks
- Competent in generating detailed reports and technical specifications
- Familiarity with compliance standards
