Our client, a leading firm of accountants and auditors, is seeking an Audit Associate to join their dynamic and well established team based in the Slough area. This is an exciting time to join the Firm as they are growing rapidly and you will have the opportunity to develop and progress in a supportive and flexible firm of accountants.
This role offers full study support and excellent experience within the audit sector.
Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning and Execution:
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and control testing.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to gather audit evidence.
- Document audit work in accordance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
- Client Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and address queries.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
- Identify and report on control weaknesses and accounting discrepancies.
- Professional Development:
- Pursue professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) and stay up-to-date with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Participate in internal and external training sessions.
- Contribute to the team environment.
Role Requirements:

Have Gained a minimum of 18 months Auditing experience gained in a similar role
- Desire to be qualified in either of the following qualifications (ACCA or ACA)

Accurate with strong attention to detail

Possess strong communication skills

Able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
This role is hybrid working with 3 days spent in the office a week, where car parking is available. The office location also benefits from excellent public transport links and is walking distance from a main line train station.
