The Financial Accounting & Reporting Partner will play a crucial role within the Inventory and Revenue department, focusing on cost of goods sold and revenue reporting for a large life science organisation based in Slough.

Description
- Reporting into the Finance Director, this role will be responsible for managing the day to day of finance in relation to revenue, inventory, COGS, and distribution
- Preparation of month end accounts, computation of annual standard costs, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and meeting audit and year end statutory accounting requirements
- The Financial Accounting & Reporting Partner ensures that Revenue & COGs are recognised accurately in accordance with IFRS and internal management reporting guidelines
- Additionally, this role collaborates directly with partner companies and distributors, as well as business partners with our stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Profile
A successful Financial Accounting & Reporting Partner- Revenue & Inventory should have:
- Professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
- Proven experience a in similar role
- Proficient knowledge of IFRS and SOX
- Advanced level in MS Office packages, including Power BI
- Experience in partnering outside of a finance department.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication and a keen eye for detail
- Proactive and inquisitive work approach
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of £65000 to £75000 per annum. (Dependent on years of experience within the areas outlined)
