Management Accountant - (part qualified) - Slough (hybrid) - £45,000 to £50,000

We are exciting to be working alongside a powerhouse in the property sector, with close to £500m in revenues, we are on the hunt for a part qualified Management Accountant to join their team.

You’ll be handling management accounting, statutory accounting, consolidations, and other ad hoc finance tasks.

A bit more about the role....

  • Produce financial statements including P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and variance analysis.
  • Production of Management and Statutory accounts.
  • Update consolidation packages for the Monthly accounts.
  • Production and analysis of Financial reporting including general ledger master data, statutory reporting, IFRS reporting.
  • Produce statutory accounts, management accounts, regulatory returns, and tax computations.
  • Responsible for the production and filing of year end accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
  • Responsible for HMRC compliance.
  • Supporting the month-end close process.
  • Prepayments and Accruals, P&L and Balance sheet detailed reconciliations
  • Monitoring compliance with policies and practices to maintain strong financial control
  • Challenge the process make recommendations to streamline the current procedures
  • Inventory Management includes management of fixed assets
  • Further development and continuous improvement of Finance systems and processes
  • Assist with preparation of budget & forecast schedules.
  • Financial understanding through variance analysis
  • Monitoring the budget process and making adjustments to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Preparation of strategic analyses and reports
  • Ad hoc Project work.

About you....

  • Prior experience in a Management Accounting role required
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA part qualified as a minimum
  • Live within a commutable distance from Slough
