Air Freight Coordinator

Position: Air Freight Coordinator
Location: Slough
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30
Salary: Up to 35,000 DEO

We are recruiting for a global logistics and freight forwarding company for an experienced Air Freight Coordinator The ideal candidate will be fully conversant in all aspects of Air freight operations, in both imports and exports; exports would be more desirable.

Your key responsibilities as an Air Freight Coordinator:

• Coordinate and manage the shipment of goods via air freight from end to end
• Booking with Origin/Destination
• Customs clearance formalities
• Track and update delivery statuses in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
• Job invoicing and costing
• Prepare, track, and manage all documentation related to freight shipments, air waybills, customs declarations and invoices
• Prepare and submit customs clearances
• Ensure compliance with international sipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise air freight processes and improve service delivery

Requirements:

• Experience with a UK freight forwarder in air freight is essential
• Customs experience
