Our client is a water cooler business. They are looking for an exceptional Branch Operations Manager to join their team. Working with the Area Operations Manager : -

  • Deploy Branch resources to ensure 95% of scheduled water deliveries, installations, technical service, and extra delivery orders are completed on time.
  • Manage productivity of the team to ensure full route execution each day.
  • Review Branch performance metrics daily and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Deliver a minimum of 40% NPS score each month. Review, address and resolve any negative survey responses, or customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Monitor all operating activity against company and governing body standards, in addition to customer contractual obligations. Complete field audits with a target of 100% compliance.
  • Control all operating costs to deliver continual improvement in cost per bottle delivered and revenue. Manage all courier/temporary labour requirements against cost and productivity, incorporating strict control measures in line with operating plan.
  • End to end PO management to support accrual of costs in operating plan. All services requested via a supplier, PO raised at the point of request to establish accurate weekly and month end financial reporting.
  • Work cohesively with the Central Planning team to ensure optimum route efficiency in line with performance metrics and operating plan.
  • Ensure defined stock control measures are in place including completion of accurate, timely stock counts and daily recording of stock movements. Investigate stock discrepancies and establish corrective actions to apply zero tolerance approach to any stock variance.
  • Establish and maintain safety first culture across team, with support of Health & Safety Manager, by ensuring the Branch building, environment, fleet, is clean, maintained, safe, and well organised at all times.
  • Manage Branch fleet maintenance and control costs with support of Fleet Management, whilst ensuring vehicle checks and inspections are performed as set out by DVSA.
  • Ensure driving behaviours across the team meet DVSA legislation and regulations, whilst updating Vision platform with required information for audit purposes.
  • Manage and plan all annual leave to ensure optimal staffing levels, in line with seasonality demand, across branch operations for full year.
  • Collaborate with customer service, sales, supply chain and production colleagues to address time critical issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Fulfil delegation of Area Operations Manager tasks as required.
  • Assist with warehouse and delivery tasks as required.
