We are passionate about creating innovative, sustainable, and safe environments, and we're looking for a talented Associate Director to join our growing team in Slough.

As the Associate Director, you will lead the Transportation and Active Travel team, driving forward exciting projects that shape the future of local communities. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to key business strategies, manage high-profile client relationships, and mentor a team of engineers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, adopting a collaborative and partnership-focused approach.
  • Lead and mentor your team, ensuring quality project delivery and maintaining utilisation targets.
  • Develop a pipeline of forward work, ensuring projects meet quality, financial, and client satisfaction goals.
  • Manage transportation and active travel projects, including development control, local authority transport strategies, and active travel initiatives.
  • Prepare and assist with bid submissions and frameworks, ensuring business growth and client engagement.
  • Lead operational meetings, managing resources and project oversight across regional teams.
What We're Looking For:
  • Expertise in transportation and active travel planning, particularly in London and the South-East.
  • Proven track record of managing transportation projects for local authorities.
  • Strong financial and business management skills, including project budgeting and commercial management.
  • Network of consultant, contractor, and developer contacts to assist in the growth and development of business targets.
  • Experience in leading teams, mentoring staff, and developing innovative project solutions.
  • Track record of continuous improvement and innovation in design and delivery processes
  • Chartered status with CIHT and a relevant degree.
