GR8 Connect are looking for experienced machine operators in the slough area to join our client on a permanent contract working a shift rotation which will include mornings, evenings and nights.
About the Position
* Working as part of the production team operating machinery as instructed by supervisor.
* Operating all machinery in an efficient and safe manner
* Maintaining the production of extrusion and coating lamination, including printing,
ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed.
* Slitting material produced from the laminators and extrusion machines into tapes.
* Operate all production lines, after appropriate training.
* Support and help in the cross-training of other team members.
* Making sure all codes used in Syteline are accurate and correct.
Essential Skills and Characteristics
* Understanding of Quality Systems would be an advantage.
* Must have basic numeric and literacy skills to ensure accurate recording of data using set paperwork
* Ability to handle heavy equipment.
* Be able to read, understand and follow production plans and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Basic computer knowledge.
This Job is on a rotating shift pattern, working 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 switching week on week.
Paid at £15.21 per hour or £29,660 per annum with overtime and bonuses paid separately.
Temp to Perm roles or straight permanent roles!
