Reach Truck Driver - Local Expanding Business
Location: Sleugh
Shifts Available: Days (07:30-17:00) and Nights (21:00-04:30)
Vanta Staffing is currently recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver position with a local expanding business in Sleugh. As a Reach Truck Driver, you will be responsible for managing goods coming in and out of the business. A valid Reach Truck Licence is required for this role as you will be responsible for loading and unloading pallets. Please note that the work is repetitive, mainly consisting of picking and packing duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Reach truck for goods in and out, as needed
- Pick and pack shipments for daily collection
- Prepare pallets for daily collection
- Comfortable using a PC for emails, bespoke systems, and courier portals
- Pack orders, label shipments, and load them correctly and safely
- Assist with stock management
- Handball and maintain general warehouse cleanliness
- Follow employer's conditions of employment at all times
Qualifications & Characteristics:
- Valid FLT Reach Truck Licence
- Prior picking and packing experience in a warehouse setting
- Interest and willingness to take ownership in a warehouse environment
- Flexible lunch hour availability
- Desire for a long-term permanent position
- Proficient in English
- Live within commutable distance to Sleugh Trading Estate
