Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with knowledge of electrical components such as transformers, voltage regulators or similar, looking for the responsibility of a senior position working on new and patented technology?

Do you want the chance to become a technical expert, embedded within a Research and Development department leading the charge on new innovations with the renewable energy sector?

In this role you will be responsible for the Electrical Design of electrical components used for off-shore wind turbines and the renewables sector. This will include transformers, voltage stabilisers and power regulators. The R&D team is consists of over 20 highly skilled engineers across electronic, electrical, controls, instrumentation and mechanical disciplines.

This company were established over 40 years ago and have carved out many profitable niches in electrical component design for domestic and international markets. They supply components for off-shore wind, develop IoT technology for the refrigeration sector and even power conditioning equipment for export.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer with knowledge of component design, looking for a role within a cross-function research and development team within the renewable energy sector.

The Role:

  • Designing Electrical components such as transformers and voltage regulation products
  • Designing equipment from the smallest (10VA) to the largest (500kVA)
  • Comprehensive training to design components for each new project
  • Working in a cross-functional research and development team of technical experts
