Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Airfreight Import Clerk for a Worldwide Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Liaise / communicate closely with clients on all aspects of the import process
- Co-ordination with overseas offices.
- Complete customs declarations correctly allowing smooth customs clearance.
- Arrange cargo delivery.
- Co-Ordination with Warehouse in support of Import Clearance, Storage and Delivery to Customer.
- Liaise with airlines / handling agents.
- Preparation and processing of customer Invoicing.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:-
- 5 - 10 Years’ experience within an Air Import Dept.
- Strong Administration background with High level of Written and Verbal communication skills.
- Be able to communicate with customers and colleagues using all mediums.
- Knowledge of ASM / UFS systems.
- Knowledge of HMRC processes and procedures.
Ability to:-
- Work on own initiative.
- Handle customers and their queries.
- Willingness to work shift pattern, including weekends.
- Be a team player.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Communicate effectively with our clients.
