Our client, a blue-chip company with a great reputation is looking for an HR Specialist to work in their HR department. The team is busy and everyone is hands on. They are looking for someone happy to support ER, Recruitment, get involved with inhouse training, take compensation and benefits queries where appropriate. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and professional HR service to all employees and provide support to the HR Manager & HR Senior Specialist. You will be CIPD Level 3 qualified with a pragmatic, hands on approach.

  • Running recruitment campaigns, candidate sourcing and data retention
  • Completing pre-employment checks and reference checks
  • Provide staff with new and updated policies, procedures and handbooks
  • Monitoring of staff wellbeing, attendance and productivity
  • Maintaining the staff databases
  • Support with the disciplinary process, including preparation of investigation paperwork
  • Attending investigation meetings and supporting both manager and employee with guidance
  • Supporting staff via welfare visits and liaising with occupational health / medical practitioners
  • Support staff throughout the entirety of the employee / staff life cycle from pre-employment to termination
  • Supporting with escalated disciplinary processes and grievances
  • Monitor procedures and processes to ensure compliance with UK legislative changes
  • General administration for regulatory reporting, procedures and 1st level controls
  • Assist in the administration of payroll information for monthly payroll
  • Provide monthly reporting of absence analysis, headcount, starter and leaver information and temporary costings
  • Ensure necessary Health & Safety supplies, equipment and documentation are available
  • Record and investigate any accidents or near misses
  • It would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of one of the following, though not essential: Iris Cascade, Concur & ADP
