Human Resources Advisor (9 Month FTC)

  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Human Resources Advisor for a 9-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will be the go-to provider of day-to-day HR support, in addition to carrying out ad-hoc HR projects as directed by the Hospital Director and People Business Partner.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Implement ad-hoc HR projects as required, under the guidance of senior management.
  • Maintain and update HR system content accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and administer training and development activities.
  • Organise comprehensive onboarding activities for new joiners, ensuring a smooth integration into the organisation.
  • Provide first-line HR advice, coaching, and guidance in accordance with policy and best practice.
  • Collaborate with HR Shared Services to ensure data processing adheres to security standards.
  • Assist Managers with performance management, disciplinary, grievance issues, and attendance matters, conducting investigations when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Highly organised, accurate, and adept at meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proven HR Advisor experience, preferably within a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Knowledgeable in employment laws and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
  • Skilled in building strong employee relations and partnering with Managers.
  • Excellent communication and computer literacy skills.
