Sonic Summary

A Medium Sized Freight Forwarder is seeking to recruit an Import Breakbulk Clerk with 6-12 months of experience in an airfreight environment.
The primary objective of the role is to process import consolidations at Heathrow Airport while ensuring customs records are properly managed.
Candidates should understand the concepts of MAWB and HAWB, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a high standard of customer service.
The position requires a minimum of 5 GCSEs with grades A-C, including Maths and English, and involves a 37.5-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
Salary is dependent on experience and includes benefits.

We are working with a Medium Sized Freight Forwarder, who are looking to recruit an Import Breakbulk Clerk.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Import Breakbulk Clerk we are looking for someone with ideally 6-12 months in an airfreight environment. Objective of role is to process import consolidations at Heathrow Airport ensuring customs records are created and updated; ensuring all necessary controls, formalities and procedures are implemented, in line with departmental goals.

Role Involves:

Understanding concept of MAWB & HAWB in an import or export context
Able to multi-task in an often fast-paced environment
High standard of accuracy, attention to detail with good arithmetic skills
High standard of Customer Service skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Self-motivated and logical, with the ability to use initiative.
To demonstrate a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
Minimum 5 GCSEs with A-C grade (Incl Maths and English)

Monday to Friday 37.5-hour week.
